Justice For All

We implore the Legal Practice Council and Parliament to repeal the PECUNIARY INTEREST RULE OF THE LEGAL PRACTICE ACT 28 OF 2014.

This unjust rule makes it difficult for the ordinary South African citizen to access justice and pupils to pursue a career in the advocacy profession.

We implore the Legal Practice Council and Parliament to demonstrate their commitment to fairness, equality, and the rights of every South African citizen by repealing the Pecuniary Interest Rule.

Let us work together to create a legal system that is truly accessible, just, and reflective of the needs and aspirations of our diverse nation.
